I don’t remember exactly when I started my first website, but it was quite possibly around 1998 or so. Like all websites back then, when the web was a smaller place and no one knew what “blogging” was or even what dynamic web design meant, mine was pretty pathetic, aimless, and a waste of lousy HTML.

BradNelson.com came into existence around 2004, bought mostly for the vanity email address, but also as a place to display assorted drivel and whatever I feel like. And serve as a base for criticism of EricByers.com.

At certain points in its history, BradNelson.com has had high purpose, steady readership (besides my mom), and consistent updates. That era has long passed. While I love the idea of random blogging, posting a photo here, a snippet of text there, or a link to something cool, I don’t have the discipline to do it regularly and I know that with the other two billion “bloggers” already doing this, I have nothing unique to offer.

As it currently stands, BradNelson.com is a place for me to do two things: one, post irregular long-winded essays on any random topic I feel like, and two, update my prideful reading list. Aside from that, BradNelson.com has largely no purpose, other than to annoy the six other Bradley Nelsons out there who are festering over my negligent use of this domain.
